Born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming, Torey Rush grew up riding ATVs, snowmobiles, dirt bikes and whatever else he could get my hands on. He started racing motocross at age 14, racing Wyoming and South Dakota race circuits.
Rush went to college in Mitchell, South Dakota and earned a degree in powersports technology. He moved back to Gillette, went to work for Destination X and started racing all different kinds of races: ATV, obstacle course, diesel truck drag racing, motocross, arena cross, endure and won a Wyoming trials championship in 2013. He also ran RMSHA snowmobile hill climb races and other different events around the region.
In 2015, Rush got into UTV racing competing in the Colorado Off-Road Race series and The Yellowstone Off-Road Race Series taking home the championship from Colorado. He also started racing an Polaris ACE, taking one off the showroom floor, racing the GBC Heartland challenge and capturing the win in the ACE class his first time out. Michael Swift with Team UXC gave him an opportunity to race an ACE at his first GNCC race and Rush took home a third place finish. Rush raced a Polaris ACE and RZR in the 2016 race season, Running GNCC for Team UXC Factory Polaris, The Baja 1000 with SLOHI Racing out of Denver Colorado, and running a UTV race team for Destination X for the 2016/2017 season in the Yellowstone off road race series in Montanan and other races throughout the region.
